The Korean Council for the Women Drafted for Military Sexual Slavery by Japan; Convention Hall, Room 208

In any conflicted situation around the world, women have been the most violated people. History shows, that especially during war time, violence against women is expressed in its most fearful and inhuman way. This workshop will examine the case of the Military Sexual Slaves who were drafted by the Japanese military as an example and widen to the case of any violence in its most fearful and inhuman form, with special attention to those committed during war time. It is clear that these violated women must be supported towards restoration of their dignity and experience justice towards healing and reconciliation.
