Inn-SPIRE [Space for Inter-Religious Encounter], Madang Hall
The WCC has recently partnered with the UNHCR, as well a number of other organisations representing a variety of world religious traditions, to develop the document ‘Welcoming the stranger’. Religious leaders are invited to sign the document which affirms that ‘Welcoming the stranger’ is a core value of their religious tradition. This session will offer an introduction to the document and will be the moment when a number of key figures present at the Assembly will sign it.
